Creator of the Brave Beginner Art Course: How to Survive and Thrive Through Creativity
My art is influenced by the natural beauty of California's coast and the surrounding landscape. I strive to capture the essence of the scenery I paint through soothing colors and bold brushstrokes. Primarily, I work with acrylic paints, using various techniques to create texture and depth in my pieces.
Over the years, my artwork has been displayed in various galleries across California, including the Monterey Museum of Art, the Los Gatos Museum of Art, and the Pacific Grove Art Center. I've had the privilege of being featured in solo shows and participating in numerous group exhibitions. It's truly humbling to know that my work is collected by private collectors both nationally and internationally. I've also had the opportunity to collaborate with interior designers to create custom pieces for their clients' private collections. Additionally, my artwork hangs in healthcare facilities locally and in the San Francisco Bay Area, and has even been featured on the covers of the Journal of Critical Care Medicine.
Giving back to the community is something I hold dear, and I actively participate in several local charity events. It brings me joy to use my art as a means of making a positive impact.
In addition to my artistic endeavors, I also teach art workshops and classes online. I love sharing my knowledge and passion for art with aspiring artists. I firmly believe that everyone has the potential to be creative, so I encourage my students to experiment with different techniques and mediums, guiding them towards discovering their own unique style.
When I'm not in the studio, you can often find me hiking in Big Sur or exploring Carmel. These experiences enrich my life and provide endless inspiration for my art. I'm always seeking new ways to push the boundaries of my craft, making each new piece a reflection of my journey through life and my ever-evolving artistic style.
